Are you a newcomer who is unemployed, with limited work experience, skills and education?

What does the program offer?

• 26 weeks of learner training (including Literacy and Language, Life Skills, Training for Work and Career and Education Planning)
• 6 weeks of work experience.

How will you benefit?

• Develop a career and learning plan
• Develop English language literacy and numeracy skills and enhance essential skills.
  NOTE: This is not an ESL program
• Obtain entry level skills in baking & meat cutting.

Eligibility Requirements

• Unemployed
• At least 18 years old
• Permanent Resident status in Canada
• Able to attend a 32-week full time program and committed to full time employment during six-month follow-up
• No post-secondary education
• Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5
