The Welcoming Communities Initiative (WCI) fosters inclusive communities through effective relationships between newcomers and the broader Calgary community. The initiative promotes the strengthened participation of new immigrants in civil society by engaging communities, institutions and individuals in creating positive spaces for social, economic and cultural integration.
