Top 7 Over 70 is becoming a movement — a movement that celebrates the incredible potential of older adults and their key contributions to our community. Not only are we raising awareness of seniors’ achievements and shining the spotlight on their successes, we’re also supporting the innovative work done by our sister organization InterGen. Through InterGen’s unique matching platform and programs, retiring and transitioning executives are becoming involved in the new economy and finding stimulating outlets in which they can share their skills, experience and perspectives. A global expert on aging, Carl Honore (author of Bolder: Making the Most of Our Longer Lives), recently visited Calgary and said he was impressed by the work being done by Top 7 Over 70. He noted that there’s never been a better time to be an older adult, based on the fact that our communities and economies need the contributions of seniors more than ever before.
