Volunteer Food Hamper Delivery Drivers
As part of the Calgary East Zone Newcomers Collaborative (CENC) to support our NE Calgary communities during this time of COVID, Centre for Newcomers is actively recruiting volunteer drivers to provide contact-less delivery of Culturally Comforting Food Hampers.

*Volunteers are required to have a valid Alberta’s driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and should be confident with winter driving conditions to sign up to volunteer for this role.

What does the service offer?

Workshops on volunteering with the Centre For Newcomers and in Calgary

Opportunities in English Language tutoring, computer training, organizing activities, providing office support and planning events

Newcomers and Canadians should be eligible to work in Canada to volunteer with CFN

Willing to offer skills, knowledge and time in working with newcomers
