Building an Anti-Racist City



The Calgary Public Library, ActionDignity, and Habitus Collective are hosting a panel discussion event with key leaders which will contribute to the development of a Calgary Community Anti-Racism Action Strategy for The City of Calgary. The strategy will address systemic racism and discrimination within The City and the wider community. The panel will be followed by a Q&A discussion.

Dr. Gabrielle Lindstrom - Educational Development Consultant (Indigenous Ways of Knowing) - Taylor Institute

Moderated by Anne-Marie Pham - Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI)


Featuring a poetry reading by Wakefield Brewster and closing remarks by Ward 8 City Councillor Courtney Walcott.
