UNITY IN DIVERSITY: A Multi-Diaspora Youth Forum 2026

Alberta is home to one of the fastest-growing multicultural youth populations in Canada — yet these young leaders rarely have shared spaces to build understanding, exchange ideas, and shape solutions together.

The Unity in Diversity: A Multi-Diaspora Youth Forum 2026 brings about these changes.

This youth-led gathering brings together youth, parents, educators, and community partners across the African Diaspora, Caribbean, Asian diaspora, Middle Eastern, Latine,

Eastern European, and Indigenous communities.

This is where we:

• Break barriers between communities

• Build leadership across cultures

• Tackle shared challenges

• Celebrate the next generation of innovators, creatives, and changemakers

• Strengthen belonging and unity across Alberta

Because a stronger future for Alberta is only possible when all voices are at the table.

What to Expect

A full day of connection, collaboration, and youth leadership:

• Youth leadership workshops

• Parent & Guardian Panel - Building Unity

• Sharing circles with university & community leaders

• Community-led panel discussions

• Cultural performance

• Networking across communities

• Youth-parent collaboration sessions
