CFN & Quaker Deliver More Than 200 Winter Coats

CFN couldn't be more pleased to have distributed more than 200 winter coats on Thursday through our collaboration with the Quaker Oats #WarmWelcome Campaign. With nearly 300,000 newcomers arriving in Canada this year and approximately 100,000 newcomers identifying as in need, Quaker's #WarmWelcome program wants to lend a helping hand by providing a warm welcome to newcomers in need with a winter coat. Quaker partnered with local settlement agencies to help identify families that they feel need support the most and one of newcomers’ biggest concerns is our harsh Canadian winters. The #WarmWelcome program lends a helping hand to newcomers, as they face their first winter in Canada.
